Quality Control of Estrogen and Progesterone Receptor Analyses in Denmark

Three Danish laboratories presently perform estrogen and progesterone receptor analyses1. All three laboratories utilize the dextran-coated charcoal (DCC) assay method recommended by EORTC in 1981 [2] with minor modifications. Data are analyzed by Scatchard plot analysis [3].
