espanolEl Proyecto de restauracion del Sindicat Arroser de Alfafar (Valencia) declarado Bien de Interes Cultural con la categoria de Monumento (BIC) en 1983 y convertido en Biblioteca Publica Municipal en 1987 en el nucleo historico de Alfafar, se inicia en el transcurso del ano 2017-2018 y por peticion del Ajuntament de Alfafar al arquitecto Javier Hidalgo Mora, que encarga al Grupo de Investigacion del Color en Arquitectura del IRP los estudios de color del edificio. En este articulo, se muestra el proceso del trabajo sobre la recuperacion del color historico de este edificio emblematico de esta localidad, asi como el resultado de intervencion, que consistio en profundizar sobre un analisis historico encuadrandolo en la arquitectura valenciana de inicios del siglo XX. En el conjunto del estudio cromatico del edificio, unida al estudio previo de la documentacion encontrada, se anade y se profundiza con un trabajo cientificotecnico que apoya la investigacion, caracterizada por una serie de fases que ayudan a identificar los restos de coloracion y del material encontrado para establecer las directrices cromaticas a la hora de su intervencion. El volver a ver el color original del edificio, recuperar el cromatismo olvidado, alterado a lo largo del tiempo, supone recuperar una etapa historica de un pueblo donde transcurrieron diversas actividades sociales y, cuyo patrimonio arquitectonico, representa su identidad. En este estudio de investigacion, se ahonda sobre las caracteristicas estilisticas y compositivas del edificio, asi como el proceso de determinar su cromatismo como elemento identificativo de su arquitectura y de su historia. EnglishThe Restoration Project of the Arroser Sindicat of Alfafar (Valencia) declared a Site of Cultural Interest with the category of Monument (BIC) in 1983 and converted into a Municipal Public Library in 1987 in the historic center of Alfafar, began in the course of 2017 -2018 and at the request of the Alfafar Town Hall to the architect Javier Hidalgo Mora, who entrusts the IRP's Color in Architecture Research Group with the color studies of the building. In this article, the work process on the recovery of the historical color of this emblematic building of this town is shown, as well as the result of the intervention, which consisted in delving into a historical analysis framing it in the Valencian architecture of the early twentieth century. In the whole of the chromatic study of the building, together with the previous study of the documentation found, it is added and deepened with a scientific-technical work that supports the investigation, characterized by a series of phases that help to identify the remains of coloration and the material found to establish the chromatic guidelines at the time of your intervention. Seeing the original color of the building again, recovering the forgotten chromaticism, altered over time, means recovering a historical stage of a town where various social activities took place and whose architectural heritage represents its identity. In this research study, the building's stylistic and compositional characteristics are explored, as well as the process of determining its chromaticism as an identifying element of its architecture and its history.
