Risk in Geotechnical Practice: Whose Risk Is It Anyway?

The U.S. territory of Puerto Rico was once the fifth-largest region in the world for manufacturing of pharmaceutical products, including many of the top global producers. In 2016, the pharmaceutical exports from Puerto Rico were over $14.5 billion, and accounted for over 70 percent of the territory’s exports. Exports from Puerto Rico doubled those of California, the next largest domestic pharmaceutical exporter, and 11 of the world’s top 20 pharmaceutical products were manufactured there.
