QUANTITATIVE DETERMINATION OF EMODIN AND CHRYSOPHANOL IN MAREN RUNCHANGWAN BY HPLC

To determine the emodin and chrysophanol in the Maren RunchangWan,the measurement condition were used as follows: Kromacil C18(4.6 mm×250 mm,5 μm)column;the mobile phase consisted of methanol -0.1%phosphate solution(85∶15),at a flow rate of 1 mL/min,the column temperature was 30 ℃ and the detection wavelength was 254 nm.The calibration curve was liner over a range from 8.992×10 -3 μg to 116.896×10 -3 μg for emodin and 21.376×10 -3 ~μg to 277.858×10 -3 μg for chrysophanol. The average recovery rates for emodin and chrysophanol(n=6) were 101.56%(RSD=1.3%)and 96.78%(RSD=1.3%).
