Implementation of Belt Conveyor Cluster Supervise and Control System

The transport system underground composed by a large fleet of Belt Conveyor Cluster has a lot of problems such as long transport line and interval distance,complex chain links and the protection devices spread around.This article discusses a kind of supervise and control system with masters/ slavers based on PROFIBUS-DP.It bings about real-time monitoring and protection,solves the problem that control functions concentrated in only one master in the traditional Supervise and Control System.and improves the reliability of the system.
