Development of a User-friendly Automatic Palletising System

This paper discusses the development of a user friendly automatic dual palletising system in a packaging company producing empty aluminum cans. A study is made of the existing set up and the inherent problems, and design modifications are proposed and analysed to automate the system with a minimal cost. The paper concludes that with careful planning and engineering techniques, it would be more economical to convert an existing system into a fully automatic one rather than investing in an entirely new system.
