A THREE LEVELS LOGISTICS NETWORK PLANNING OF THE LOW-CARBON ECONOMY

2011
Based on the background of low-carbon economy,a three-tier logistics network model with different service levels, transportation costs and carbon emissions of different modes of transportation considered is built. In the model the service levels and carbon emissions are turned into economic costs by functions. The lowest total cost is set as the optimization objective, according to the demands of customers the number and locations of logistics facilities are identified from the candidate locations, besides this the traffic volumes and transportation modes between the layers of the network are also defined.A genetic algorithm based on three-dimensional code is design to solve the problem, using Matlab software programming, and a application example is simulated. The results of the model show the algorithm is correct and feasible.
