Theoretical analysis of thermal buckling of truss-filler lattice sandwich plates

In this study, based on the equivalent strain energy, some structural features of truss-filler lattice sandwich plates are first proposed. Second, the Hamilton principle and a series of plate theories were combined. Five governing equations were derived from the combination. Finally, the buckling matrix is derived using the five governing equations. The effects of different plate theories on accuracy will be tested under various geometrical conditions. Relevant factors that influence the buckling temperature were also analyzed.
