Study Of High-speed Camera Based On CMOS Image Sensor

In solar adaptive optics application, wave-front detector is required to have high frame rate, high resolution and great regions of interest. This paper describes a high frame rate camera designed with MI-MV 13 CMOS image sensor which manufactured by MICRON. In this paper, it introduces the system structure of the camera, emphasized the control-circuit of the CMOS sensor, the image data output circuit and the periphery circuit. The camera could change the area of interest. It can be read out at a rate of 2350Hz while the resolution of the image is 128×128 and the frequency is 40MHz.
