EKSPRESI EMOSI KELUARGA DENGAN FREKUENSI KEKAMBUHAN PASIEN SKIZOFRENIA

ABSTRAK Skizofrenia merupakan penyakit atau gangguan jiwa yang di alami oleh sebagian besar masyarakat di dunia. Semakin tingginya prevalensi kunjungan ulang pasien skizofrenia di rumah sakit jiwa menyebabkan perawatan pasien skizofrenia merupakan prioritas utama untuk mengurangi frekuensi kekambuhan pasien skizofrenia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi frekuensi ekspresi emosi keluarga, frekuensi kekambuhan pasien skizofrenia dan hubungan ekspresi emosi keluarga dengan frekuensi kekambuhan pasien skizofrenia. Peneliti menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross-sectional . Populasi adalah semua keluarga pasien yang memiliki anggota keluarga skizofrenia yang berkunjung   ke RSJ. Prof. DR. Muhammad Ildrem Medan yaitu 876 orang dengan jumlah sampel 88 orang dengan teknik accidental sampling . Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner yang diberikan kepada responden dan wawancara langsung kepada responden oleh peneliti. Hasil penelitian ini di analisis secara univariat yaitu mayoritas ekspresi emosi keluarga yaitu rendah (72,7%) dan mayoritas frekuensi kekambuhan pasien skizofrenia yaitu 1 kali (68,2%). Setelah di uji dengan chi-square didapatkan hasil yaitu ada hubungan ekspresi emosi keluarga dengan frekuensi kekambuhan pasien skizofrenia (p value = 0,000). Saran peneliti agar petugas kesehatan memberikan pendidikan kesehatan kepada keluarga skizofrenia yang berkunjung di RSJ Prof. DR. Muhammad Ildrem PROVSU Medan tentang penyakit skizofrenia, agar keluarga mengontrol ekspresi emosi. The high prevalence of repeat visits schizophrenic patients in a mental hospital caused the treatment of schizophrenic patients is a major priority to reduce the frequency of relapse of patients with schizophrenia. This study aims to determine the frequency distribution of emotional expression family, the frequency of relapse of patients with schizophrenia and emotional expression family relationship with the frequency of recurrence of patients with schizophrenia. Researchers used descriptive research design correlation with cross-sectional approach. The population is all the families of patients who have family members with schizophrenia who visited the hospital. Prof. DR. Muhammad Ildrem Medan that 876 people with a sample of 88 people with accidental sampling technique. Data collection tool uses a questionnaire given to respondents and direct interview to the respondents by the researchers. The results of this study in the univariate analysis that the majority of family emotional expression is low (72.7%) and the majority of patients with schizophrenia relapse frequency is 1 times (68.2%). Once in the chi-square test showed that there is a relationship of emotional expression family with frequency of recurrence of schizophrenia patients (p value = 0.000).
