The Control Strategy Simulation for Novel 48V Mild Hybrid System Based on Advisor

2020
In this paper, a novel 48V composite batteries system for 48V mild hybrid electric vehicle for efficiency improvement and cost reduction is proposed. First, the main structure and the control logic of the 48V battery system, which includes 12V and 36V battery parts, are introduced. To achieve optimal operations, the rule-based torque distribution strategy and the control strategy of two batteries according to the SOC values are developed. Based on the battery experiments and parameters identification, the corresponding models and simulations have been performed using ADVISOR platform. The simulation results show that the average corresponding fuel saving rate can reach 8% under cycle condition FTP75, comparing with the conventional model, which prove the effectiveness of the proposed model.
