A 2.45 GHz harmonic rejection antenna for wireless power transfer applications

2017
This paper presents a ring loaded arrow shaped ground slot harmonic rejection antenna for 2.45 GHz wireless power transfer applications. By using open stub and H-slot in the feed-line, higher order harmonics have been suppressed. The antenna has been developed on a 1.6 mm FR4 substrate (e r =4.4) and has 19 dB return loss at 2.45 GHz, 264 MHz 10 dB return loss bandwidth, 3.8 dB gain, and 92% radiation efficiency, which makes it suitable for the proposed application.
