Fabrication of the silver structure through two-photon excitation by femtosecond laser

Abstract Here we demonstrated the fabrication of the two-dimensional structures by two-photon excitation of silver nitrate in poly( N -vinylpyrrolidone) matrix using a femtosecond laser. The obtained structures were analyzed by a scanning electron microscope, a micro X-ray diffractometer and an X-ray photoelectron spectroscope. An electrical conductivity of the structure was also measured. The structure is composed of silver and silver oxide, an electrical resistance of the structure shows six orders of magnitude higher than that of pure silver. However, deoxygenation with nitrogen from the solution before laser irradiation, which successfully fabricates the silver structures.
