This "designers' manual" is made during the TIDO-course AR0533 Innovation & Sustainability. There are a lot of ways of using energy people would normally not think of. These are relevant for both designers, busy creating ideas about a concept or design, and people who are looking for ways to reduce the amount of energy they use in daily life, saving money on the energy bills. That is why this manual exists. It is filled with ideas, explicating and explaining them to our readers. To either help them by inspiring, or giving them options to implement in their environment. The ideas are subdivided into two different chapters, each idea is explained and rated on their impacts on costs, gains, whether the idea is generating or saving energy, the difficulty of implementing the idea and the environmental impact the idea has.
