A Brief Analysis of Chinese-Teaching Dilemma and Breakthrough in the School of English

Due to the importance of learning native language, China, as many other countries in the world, pays a lot attention to the learning of mother tongue. But Chinese course, as an important way to improve the English majors' native language in the college, is desolated in the school. It is because on the macro level, such as society and college, the Chinese has not gained enough attention; at the same time, the Chinese teaching methods and examinations also have many deficiencies, which makes the students ignore the Chinese learning. This paper studies the necessities on learning Chinese and the reasons of causing the teaching plight and measures to improvement to help the Chinese teaching in college get a good result.
