Temperature Insensitive Fiber Grating Sensor for Strain Detection

The principle of cross-sensitivity between strain and temperature of FBG sensors was analyzed.Based on the deformation features of equal strength beam,a novel twin-fiber Bragg grating matrix algorithm of 90°wedge sensing probe was presented.It can overcome the restriction of traditional matrix algorithm,and eliminate the temperature effect on strain detection effectively.With the hypo-sensitization measure on structure,the change of temperature can be detected.This scheme is easy to apply and has some practical values.Measured data can be more accurate by improving the packaging technology.
