Effects of Hedgehog signaling pathway in female reproductive system cancer

Hedgehog (HH) signaling pathway plays an important role in the development of female reproductive system. It is abnormally activated in a variety of tumor cells, which suggests that activation of HH signaling may be related to tumorigenesis and progression. In this review, we summarize the role of HH signaling in the progression and treatment of female reproductive system tumors and the clinical application of its inhibitors in recent years.
