Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) for the 65% group and CAT in the 30 and 20% groups, in renal tissue, compared to the control group. The data are consistent and highlight the involvement of fructose in reducing fertility, in the genesis of disorders of lipid and glucose metabolism, liver and kidney function, and in induction of oxidative stress. The study points to the vulnerability of the gestational period relative to the intake of f rutose-rich diets and reduced consumption would be promising for prevention of low birth weight, liver, kidney, lipid, glucose metabolism, and oxidative stress disorders
