Attitude Control of Spacecraft Formation Flying Based on Nonsingular Fast Terminal Sliding Mode Control with Adaptive Fuzzy Tuning Technique

This paper deals with the design of an attitude coordination control scheme using adaptive fuzzy nonsingular fast terminal sliding mode for a group of spacecrafts in the presence of external disturbances. A novel fast terminal sliding surface, along with a fast reaching law, has been presented for fast and finite time convergence. Adaptive tuning algorithms are drived based on Lyapunov stability theory for updating the parameters of the reaching law to deal with the disturbances. A fuzzy inference mechanism based fast reaching law,with adaptively updated gains, is proposed to reduce the chattering. The finite-time stability of the overall closed-loop system through local information exchange is guaranteed by a Lyapunov-based approach, and numerical simulations have been presented to demonstrate the performance of the proposed controller.
