Effect of large solar power plant on locational marginal prices in Oman

This manuscript investigates the effect of new investments on the locational marginal prices in the main interconnected system of Oman. The study includes modeling the existing transmission network and simulating system performance during peak period. In addition, the effect of renewable energy projects on locational marginal prices are simulated.
