Application of mass spectrometry to heterogeneous catalysis

This paper discusses applications of mass spectrometry to heterogeneous catalysis in combination with various techniques including temperature programmed desorption, oxidation and reduction, and diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy. Selectivity profiles and measurements were obtained by using temperature programmed surface reaction coupled to mass spectrometry.
