Comment on Ricci collineations of static spherically symmetric spacetimes [J. Math. Phys. 35, 3005–3012 (1994)]

We present a counter example to a theorem given by Amir et al. [J. Math. Phys. 35, 3005–3012 (1994)]. We also comment on a misleading statement of the same reference.
