NÍVEL DE SEDENTARISMO DOS INTEGRANTES DO CORPO DE BOMBEIRO E POLÍCIA MILITAR DO MUNICÍPIO DE IMBITUBA.

This work aims to address the theme of physical activity, trying to understand how the Firefighter and Military Police behave in the face of sedentarism. Thus, it is intended to investigate the level of sedentarism of members of the Fire Brigade and Military Police of the municipality of Imbituba, given the importance of being physically active, and the importance of the Military Fire Brigade and the Military Police have for society, is It is of utmost importance to know the level of sedentarism of its members. To perform the analysis, the IPAQ questionnaire was used in the Short version. According to the results presented, it can be concluded that the Civil Group had a worrying score, since they presented a High Sedentary Level according to IPAQ. This high level of sedentarism presents a moderate or high risk to the health of its members.
