Performance Testing of an Extended Depth of Field Digital Night Vision Device

Performance testing of a night vision technology demonstrator incorporating wavefront coding to increase image depth-of-field was recently completed. Test results indicate that depth-of-field was increased with some loss in performance in other image quality aspects.
