EDUCATION OF EARLY DETECTION STIMULATION AND EARLY INTERVENTION OF CHILDHOOD GROWTH THROUGH PRE-SCREENING QUESTIONNAIRE DEVELOPMENT IN KAYANGAN VILLAGE WORKING AREA CUKIR PUSKESMAS JOMBANG 2019

Abstract The growth and development of toddlers physically, mentally, socially, emotionally is influenced by nutrition, health and education. An important period in child development is the toddler period. Because at this time basic growth will influence and determine the next child's development. Because at this time basic growth will influence and determine the next child's development. During this toddler stage, the development of language skills, creativity, social awareness, emotional, and intelligence runs very fast and is the basis for subsequent developments. Brain intelligence shows the fact that to maximize the intelligence of a child, stimulation must be carried out from the first 2 years of life considering that at that age the number of brain cells possessed is twice as many as adult brain cells. This community service activity aims to provide education to parents, especially mothers of toddlers, about toddler growth and development and the factors that support toddler growth and development. The target of the activity is the mother of the toddler in the Play Group. The expected benefit from this activity is the increased knowledge of mothers under five about child development and can provide simulations and parenting patterns that are in accordance with the development of toddlers. The methods used in this activity are question and answer discussions, lectures, and demonstrations. The speakers in this activity were a team of lecturers at the Husada Jombang High School of Health Sciences, and the Cukir Community Health Center midwife. The results of the activity showed that the participants were active in the activity and there was an increase in knowledge about toddler growth and development.
