In educational psychology the problem of motivation is of primary significance. Motivational evolution is a complex process that does not build a simple positive or negative attitude towards learning. For restructuring certain aspects of the motivation active factors are those resultant from the learning environment as well as internal, personal factors.The presence of high academic motivation to learn the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge is one of the parameters to achieve a efficacy education in medical colleges. Knowing the nature and dynamics of the reasons that lead to an active attitude towards the learning process is an essential and necessary element for achieving an effective professional education. In this meaning, the issues requiring explanation are: Are young people who choose an education in health professions motivated and if so on what level is there motivation? What is the nature of their motives? Personal motivation or motivating educational environment - which leads? What are the factors inciting higher or lower motivation? Answering these questions allows to achieve higher standards and quality in the professional education of health specialists.Knowledge of the nature and dynamics of the motives of students for their active attitude towards the learning process is essential for its effective management. The presence of high academic motivation to learn the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge is one of the parameters to achieve an efficacy of education in medical colleges. Academic motivation as part of a broader motivational orientation to students’ own professional development is an important aspect in the process of building a reliable and successful health specialists.
