Relationship Between Retention and Homologous Factor of Homologues in RPLC

Abstract Based on Jiang MingQian′s organic compound homologous linear rule, a quantitative relationship between retention and the homologous factor is identified for homologous in reversed-phase highperformance liquid chromatography and is supported by experimental and citation data. Calculated and compared with experimental data, the overall average relative derivation for 267 data sets is 3.77% for 18 groups of homologues in five kinds of mobile phases on five kinds of columns.
