Study on integrase-Iof gene of multi-resistant pseudomonas aeruginosa

Objective: To explore resistance of clinical isolates of multi-resistant pseudomonas aeruginosa(MRPA) and existence of integrase-Ⅰgene.Methods: The sensitivity of 68 strains of MRPA to 16 antimicrobial agents were detected by K-B disk diffusion and trace dilution methods,and the integrase-Ⅰgene was detected by PCR.Results: The resistance rates of 68 MRPA(which are resistant to three types of antimicrobials) to the 16 antimicrobials range from 14.7% to 100%.And the integrase-Ⅰgene is positive in all the 68 strains of MRPA.Conclusion: The 68 strains of MRPA isolated from our hospital all carry integrase.
