Nedostatci u održavanju koji dovode do zaustavljanja broda

In this thesis, a review of importance of increasing the degree of ship automation systems with the aim of early failures detection in ship facilities is given, as well as the importance of proper approach to ship maintenance to increase environmental responsibility and safety of people and ships. Inspection of foreign ships in ports is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Paris Memorandum (Paris MoU) on Port State Control. The creation of a uniform and coordinated system of inspections, Port State Control of ships, has increased the level of safety at sea, protection of the marine environment and working and living conditions of crew members. Inspectors have an insight into previous inspections and their results, thus avoiding unnecessary repetitions, and inspection supervision becomes better and more efficient. Through the efforts of the policy of the European Union, as well as the Republic of Croatia, which by its accession has harmonized its legislation with those of the European Union, continuous work is being done to improve maritime safety.
