Die logarithmische Normalverteilung von Schadstoffgehalten in kontaminierten Böden

1999
In the sampling of contaminated soils from soil heaps, a normal distribution of the contaminants is generally assumed for the statistical analysis of the measurement data. However, this assumption is not always justified, and can therefore lead to false estimations in risk assessment. Studies have shown that a logarithmic normal distribution of the contaminant levels may be more appropriate in certain cases.
