Benefits of Safety and Traffic Management Technologies

This report details the results of a domestic and international review of recently-developed intelligent transport systems technologies, including a qualitative indication of their costs and benefits. A total of 70 technologies were identified of which 25 are under the direct purview of Austroads member agencies. A process for evaluating the technical quality of publications was developed and applied to 39 studies.
