The Electrical Still Camera a New Concept in Photography

Considerable interest has been shown in recent years in electronic systems of photography which use no film. In 1972, for instance, Texas Instruments filed a patent for an electronic camera(1) and in 1980 Polaroid introduced their concept of an instant electronic camera.(2)
