Curative Effect Analysis of Surgical Treatment of Acetabular Fractures

Objective: To assess the curative effect of surgical treatment of acetabular fractures.Methods: A retrospective analysis of 65 cases of acetabular fractures(1998-2008) with open reduction and internal fixation was made,with patients' age,sex,co0mplications,etiology,fracture type,surgery methods,treatment evaluation,follow-up results recored.Results: Of 65 cases followed up,18 cases were ranked as optimal,22 cases as good,14 cases as general and 11 cases as poor,based on the hip function evaluation standard of American Research Institute of Orthopaedic Surgery.Conclusion: The curative effect of surgical treatment of acetabular fracture is closely related to the fracture type,operation time,reduction state and the complication of dislocation of the hip.
