Comparison Between TwoMethods ofMeasurement oftheSurface Tension inPresence of Electric Charges

Inprevious articles (1-3) wehaveproved that itwaspossible tomodify thehydrodynamic parameters ofhigh speed jets ofdiesel oil withelectrical processes (with injection ofcharges forinstance). Inthis article wetrytomeasure theinteraction between therepulsion coulombic forces andthesurface tension oneswith two experimental techniques. Thefirst oneisthe"pendant droplet" technique andthesecond oneisbased onthe properties ofthepropagation ofwavesatthesurface of theliquid. We present theresults obtained withboth experimental techniques of measurement ofthe equivalent surface tension ofanelectrically charged surface. We analyse theresults andcompare both techniques.
