TRANSACTIVE MEMORY SYSTEMS AND GROUP PERFORMANCE: A SIMULATION STUDY OF THE ROLE OF SHARED COGNITION.
2008
Using an agent-based model simulation, we find that the degree of consensus as a dimension of transactive memory systems is positively related to the volume of communication, existence of a social network within a group, and group performance, while group size is negatively related to the degree of consensus.
