Festschmierstoffe für spezielle Anwendungen: Schmierung von Verbindungselementen (Schraubenschmierung)

Solid lubricants play an outstanding role in areas of lubrication technology where conventional lubricants are not able to fulfil the requirements sufficiently. For example solid lubricants prove its value especially in applications with extreme conditions like high or low temperature, high pressure, extremely slow sliding speed or oscillating movements with high frequencies. From the tribological point of view solid lubricants are most effective in the areas of boundary friction and mixed friction where typically no hydrodynamic lubrication is possible. In the following article the tribological function of solid lubricants and the advantages of their use are described on the example of screw lubrication.
