A system for dispensing a fragrant material, said system comprising: a reservoir (28) for storing a fragrant material; a delivery system (30) that is configured to deliver the stored in the reservoir fragrant material; Drive electronics (32) which is operatively associated with the delivery system, which is configured to control the dispensing of the fragrant material; and an interface (26) configured to be interfaced with a portable device (10), wherein the interface is in electrical signal communication with the drive electronics.
