Effect of Time Dependence on the Mechanical Behavior of Compact Bone Tissue

A test program was performed to determine the changes of different parameters of the mechanical properties of human compact bone tissue at different strain rates ɛ11 in longitudinal tension and three different bone moisture contents. The character of changes of the ultimate stress in tension σ*11, ultimate specific strain energy U*1 and modulus of elasticity E1 was found.
