Effects of Different IBA and NAA Concentrations on Full Light Intermittent Spraying Cutting of Cenruan 3

The author studied the effects of different IBA and NAA concentrations on the cutting of Cenruan 3 by using full light and intermittent spraying method.The results showed that the rooting rate of the cuttings was around 80% in the treatments of 2000,4000 and 5000 mg/L NAA,as well as in the treatments of 3000 and 4000 mg/L IBA,which was improved significantly.For Cenruan 3 there were two rooting types at least,namely the cortex rooting and the callus rooting,so it belonged to easy rooting species.When the cuttings were under the condition of full light in May,the cortex rooting generally needed 4~5 weeks,which was less than the callus rooting(7~8 weeks).The cortex rooting rate of the cuttings was improved significantly after 2000~5000 mg/L IBA treatment,reaching about 50%,and the root number of the cuttings was more and roots were stout with 3000~5000 mg/L IBA treatment,which was able to fully meet the production needs,and could improve the germination rate to a certain extent.Considering various factors,as well as the aim of saving the cost of production,the full light cuttings of Cenruan 3 should be dipped rapidly to 3000 mg /L IBA for 10 seconds.
