Comparison of antibacterial activity from different parts of Vicia sepium.

To discuss the antibacterial activity with extraction from difference samples like the stem and leaf,the flowers,the seeds and the pods of the Vicia sepium Linn,microorganisms such as Escherichia Coli,Micrococcus Cohn and the Actinomycete were used as tested samples by adopting consecutive time dilution.The antibacterial activity of extractions of different parts from Vicia Sepium Linn's to 3 kinds of microorganisms was determined.Results showed that the acidic extractions' antibacterial activity of the flowers is strongest,followed by the stem,leaf and seeds.The acid solution is the best way for extraction with high activity.
