Electrodeposition of Ni-W gradient coatings

The present paper has represented results of researches of the electrodeposition of Ni-W coatings having a gradient structure. The paper has determined conditions of synthesis providing a possibility to control W content in the coating within wide ranges (from 3.3 to 9.2 at. %). Influence of current density and pH value on coating characteristics has been studied. Morphological characteristics of the gradient coating have been researched.
