Applied Anatomy and Physiology of Ear

According to anatomical sites, ear contains the external, the middle and the inner ear, among which, the external ear includes the auricle and the external auditory canal, the middle ear contains the tympanic chambers, the tympanic sinus, the mastoid and the eustachian tube and the inner ear consists the osseous labyrinth and the membranous labyrinth. The membranous labyrinth hides in the osseous labyrinth and it contains the cochlea, the vestibule and the semicircular canals. The middle ear and the inner ear both locate in the temporal bone, and their physical structure is like what the profile maps of the external, middle and inner ear show.
