Asymmetric software architecture design of High performance control chip applied in industrial control field

For the scene of high real-time requirement in industrial field, the homogeneous multi-core asymmetric software system architecture is designed. This architecture meets the requirements of real-time and non real-time collaborative processing ability in application scenarios, and realizes multi-core remote management. In FPGA verification stage or production stage, porting remoteproc management structure in a typical operating system (Linux), at the same time, the bare metal software and RTOS porting openamp source project. We customized and developed a multi-core management framework, supporting remoteproc API. Based on the implemented SGI interrupt, rpmsg protocol is implemented with the help of hardware IPC mechanism and shared memory, and cross processor communication between Linux and bare metal software is realized through rpmsg protocol.
