Structure of a supersonic separated flow over a compression corner with side walls
2021
The work focuses on the effect of transversal runoff on the high-pressure layer in a supersonic (M = 6) separated compression corner flow. The high-pressure layer is formed behind the reattachment line of the separated flow and is characterized by high values of total pressure (90-95% of the freestream total pressure). The presented experimental results show that the high-pressure layer exists in a flow without transversal runoff.
