The Klein–Gordon equation with a generalized Morse potential in D-dimensions

An approximate analytic solution of the Klein–Gordon equation with equal vector and scalar Morse potential for the arbitrary angular momentum values is presented. The corresponding energy eigenvalues and eigenfunctions in D -dimensions are obtained explicitly within the framework of an approximation to the centrifugal potential for any l-states by means of the asymptotic iteration method. In the view of AIM, the total normalized eigenfunctions are derived in terms of the Gauss hypergeometric function.
