The Cyclic Voltammetry of p-Tropoquinone Acetals

The cyclic voltammetry of p-tropoquinone mono- and bisacetals was analyzed. Monoacetals showed an irreversible redox couple and an oxidation wave around +0.16 to −0.1 V vs. Ag/AgCl, the latter of which was due to a dianion species.
