Dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction and its application in analysis of biological samples

2011
Dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction(DLLME) is a new sample preparation technique, which is easy and fast in operation. It has a higher enrichment factor and consumes less volume of organic solvent. The most attractive merit of DLLME is that extraction time is quite shorter than other sample preparation methods. The technique has been applied to prepare environmental samples, biological samples, food samples and others. In this paper,we summarized the basic principle and procedure of DLLME,major influencing factors and recent applications of this technique in biological samples, which might provide reference for further study on liquid-liquid microextraction.
