2021
Primary Health Care in Brazil is preferably organized through the Family Health Strategy, where the Family Health teams work, with a multiprofessional character, whose work process ranges from the planning of actions to the provision of services to the population, based on the fundamentals and guidelines of Primary Care. This study aims to analyze the work process in Primary Health Care in the state of Para, with a focus on professional employment, planning of actions and available services. This is an evaluative, quantitative and cross-sectional research, with data obtained from the 3rd cycle of the External Evaluation of the National Program for Improving Access and Quality of Primary Care, carried out in the state of Para with a total of 1,182 teams descriptively analyzed by the IBM SPSS software Statistics 20.0. The nurse was the most prevalent professional as a respondent in the interviews. The most frequent professional relationship was that of a temporary contract by the public administration (43.07%), where the majority claimed to have joined via “other” means of entry (59.20%). Regarding the planning of health actions, 96.51% claim to carry out at least some activity for this purpose, 92.40% have maps with the design of the territory they cover, and 72.70% define the number of people under their responsibility from risk and vulnerability criteria. Only 10.81% of the teams offer Integrative and Complementary Practice services to users. The research showed positive results within the scope of municipal management. The professional relationship was characterized by temporary and fragile contractual relationships. However, the available services and planning of actions indicated good percentages.
