Factors Associated W ithSubjetive W ell-Beingin Older People

The present research explores the relationship between different factors associated to the mental health and subjetive well-being in older people:subjetive well-being,age,depression,perceived health,perceived social support and socio-economic status.Bivariate analysis shows significant correlations between subjetive well-being and depression (r = -0.634),subjetive well-being and perceived social support (r = 0.665),and subjetive well-being and perceived health(r = 0.278).There are also significant correlations between perceived healthand depression (r = -0.454),depression and perceived social support (r = -0.601),and perceived health and perceived social support (r = 0.305).In the multiple linear regression analysis,subjetive well-being is determinated by perceived social support,gender and absence of depression.
