Virtual Synchronous Generator with Harmonic Current Filtering Capability Based on Voltage Detection.

2019
This paper proposes an implementation of a virtual synchronous generator (VSG) with harmonic current compensation based on voltage detection on a three-phase three-leg inverter. The VSG controller calculates the reference current at the fundamental frequency, which contributes to the system stability, while the active filter controller determines the reference compensation current at the harmonic frequencies. The total reference current is obtained by summing the currents determined by the VSG and the active filter controllers. Simulation results are presented to validate the proposed control strategy.
